The apps you can stop paying for
Most households run on five or six separate apps that never talk to each other. Homii carries the same jobs in one place, and the parts connect — a moved practice changes dinner, and dinner changes the list.
13 apps, one household
10 of them start free · 60-day free trial of everything
Instead of
Recipe manager
Photograph a handwritten card, paste a link, sync a Pinterest board, or describe a dish in a sentence.
Free — links and manual entry
Instead of
Meal planner
Every empty slot arrives with Keep, Swap or Eat out already suggested, and Rhythms carry the recurring rules.
Free — AI autopilot on Family Plus
Instead of
Shopping list app
Aisle-sorted, built from the plan, with what is already in your pantry taken off.
Free — Kroger cart on Family Plus
Instead of
Shared family calendar
Together and by-person views, a meals layer and a tasks layer over the same week, recurrence and reminders.
Free — Google and Outlook sync on Family Plus
Instead of
Family task manager
Quick-add reads the date, the person and the priority out of a sentence, in three languages.
Free
Instead of
Signup sheet
Guests claim a dish from a link without making an account, and the sheet knows what the household cannot eat.
Hosting on Family Plus
Instead of
Meal train
Recipient intake, a weekly digest, swap cover when someone cannot make it, and thank-yous.
Hosting on Family Plus
Instead of
Cooking assistant
Live meanwhile steps across dishes, timers that survive a locked screen, and per-step notes in your household's words.
Free — voice and chat on Family Plus AI
Instead of
Smart family display
Kiosk Mode turns any spare screen into the household board. There is no $200–400 device to buy.
Free
Instead of
Year in review
Recap counts the meals cooked, the weeks planned and the tasks finished — from real history, not a survey.
Free
Instead of
Gift registry
Givers claim from a public link with no account, and the list owner never sees who claimed what.
Free
Instead of
Family locator
A live map on iPhone, Android and the web, with place alerts and the arrival patterns Homii learns.
Family Plus
Instead of
Chore chart
Chores and routines per person, and a kitchen-board tile — on the kid board by default, one tap away in Customize on the others. Stars and allowance ride on top on Family Plus.
Free — chart and routines; stars on Family Plus
Each row links to what Homii actually does, and names the tier it sits on. See pricing
Separate apps cannot re-decide anything
A recipe app does not know Tuesday runs late. A calendar does not know what is thawing. Every connection between them is a person — usually the same person — retyping something. That is the work Homii removes, and it is only possible because the pieces live together.
- Practice moves, and a 20-minute dinner takes its slot
- The braise drops to Sunday, when there is time for it
- The shopping list rewrites itself around both
- Cook Mode already knows the new start time
What you keep when you consolidate
Switching usually means losing something. Here it means the opposite: the household profile that makes one surface good makes all of them better. Allergies entered once keep unsafe meals out of the plan, out of the potluck signup, and out of what Homii suggests at a restaurant.
- Allergies and diets outrank anything Homii learns from your history
- Per-person taste profiles, from what actually got eaten
- Per-step notes in your household's own words
- Everything available in English, Spanish and Chinese
Start free, and check it against your own week
Most of the categories below cost nothing to start, and every new account gets full access to everything for 60 days without a card on file. The honest test is one real week: put a recipe in, let it plan, and see whether the list is right.
How it works
- 1
Step 1
Bring one recipe
Photograph a card, paste a link, connect a Pinterest board, or describe a dish in a sentence.
- 2
Step 2
Tell it who eats here
Allergies, diets and taste per person. This is the profile every other surface reads from.
- 3
Step 3
Let it plan a week
Suggestions on every empty slot, with a short reason. Change one thing and it re-decides the rest.
- 4
Step 4
Cancel what it replaced
Check the list against your own subscriptions. Keep whatever Homii does not carry — the point is fewer apps, not blind loyalty.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to give up the apps I like?
No, and you should not on our say-so. Run Homii alongside for a week and keep whatever it does not carry properly for your household. The categories on this page are the ones where families most often find they were paying twice.
Which of these are free?
Most of them. Recipes, the meal plan, the shopping list, the family calendar, the to-do list, Cook Mode, Kiosk Mode and Recap all start free. Hosting events, calendar sync with Google or Outlook, and the Family Plus AI surfaces are paid — each row on this page names its tier.
What does the free trial include?
Every new account gets Family Plus AI for 60 days with no card on file, which opens every feature including Homii chat, Menu Scout and photo import. When it ends your account moves to the free plan and nothing is deleted.
Does Homii do grocery delivery?
No. Homii builds the cart and hands it to your store — Kroger is the live integration — and the retailer handles pickup. We do not claim delivery.
Is my family's data used to train anything?
Your household profile exists to serve your household. Allergies, location and anything about a child are handled under the privacy controls in your settings, and declared rules always outrank anything the system infers.
