Is Homii a family calendar or a meal planner?
Both — on purpose. Calendar is the household schedule hub: Meals, Agenda, Day, and Week in one place. Dinner decisions sit next to soccer practice, appointments, and Homii Events so busy nights are obvious before you commit the menu.
How is this different from Google Calendar or Cozi?
Google is great at grids. Homii is great at family meaning — who’s an event For vs who’s Going, leave-by when travel time is set, dinner impact, Homii Events with RSVPs on the same Agenda, and Chef Mii that can add “football Tue/Thu at 6.” Cozi piles chores and calendars; Homii keeps meals and schedule legible together.
Can Homii create calendar events, not just sync Google?
Yes. Homii-native events support people roles, weekly recurrence, visibility, reminders, location with map, and optional push to Google (household default on when a push calendar is connected).
Do Homii Events (potlucks, meal trains) show on the calendar?
Yes. Hosted and invited Homii Events appear on Calendar Agenda, Day, and Week as distinct chips. Tap through to manage RSVPs and signups — or create a Homii Event when the calendar sheet detects a party-like title.
Does Homii sync with Google Calendar?
Family Plus can connect Google calendars for busy nights and shared household visibility. Magic Import (Family Plus AI) turns forwarded schedules and flyers into reviewable events. Homii-native creates can mirror to your Homii push calendar.
Can Chef Mii add practices and appointments?
Yes on Family Plus AI. Ask Chef Mii to add recurring sports, set who’s Going, and explain whether tonight’s dinner still fits. Party and signup language can route you toward a Homii Event instead of a plain calendar block.
