In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the ⅓ cup ketchup, 2 tbsp brown sugar, and 1 tbsp yellow mustard until smooth. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the 1 ½ lb ground beef, beaten large egg, diced yellow onion, ½ cup whole milk, ¾ cup dried breadcrumbs, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. Mix with your hands or a dipping fork just until everything is evenly incorporated — do not overmix, or the meatloaves will be dense.
