Instructions

  1. Pat the @[Salmon Fillets] completely dry with paper towels — this is key for a good sear. Season both sides generously with @[Salt] and @[Black Pepper]. In a small #[Mixing Bowl], whisk together the @[Honey], @[Soy Sauce], @[Lemon Juice], and @[Lemon Zest] (if using). Set the sauce aside.
  2. Heat the @[Olive Oil] in a large #[Skillet] over ^[medium-high heat] until shimmering. Place the @[Salmon Fillets] skin-side up and cook undisturbed for ~[4–5 minutes] until a golden crust forms. Flip the fillets and cook for another ~[3–4 minutes] on the skin side until the @[Salmon] is nearly cooked through.
  3. Reduce the heat to ^[medium]. Push the @[Salmon] to one side of the pan and add the @[Butter]. Once melted, add the @[Minced Garlic] and sauté for about ~[30 seconds] until fragrant. Pour in the honey-soy mixture and stir to combine with the garlic butter. Let the sauce simmer for ~[1–2 minutes] until it thickens slightly.
  4. Spoon the honey garlic sauce over each @[Salmon Fillet] repeatedly, coating them well. Cook for another ~[1 minute], basting continuously, until the @[Salmon] is fully cooked and the glaze is sticky and caramelized. Remove from heat, garnish with @[Fresh Parsley], and serve immediately with @[Lemon] wedges on the side.
