Instructions

  1. Preheat your #[Oven] to ![400°F]. Heat a large #[Oven]-safe #[Skillet] over ^[medium-high heat]. Add the @[Ground Pork] and cook, breaking it up with a #[Wooden Spoon], until no longer pink, about ~[5–6 minutes]. Drain any excess fat if needed.
  2. Add the shredded @[Green Cabbage], minced @[Garlic], and grated @[Ginger] to the #[Skillet] with the @[Pork]. Sauté over ^[medium heat] for ~[3–4 minutes] until the @[Cabbage] is slightly softened. Stir in the @[Soy Sauce], @[Sesame Oil], @[Green Onions], and @[Black Pepper]. Spread the filling into an even layer in the #[Skillet] and remove from heat.
  3. In a #[Mixing Bowl], whisk together the @[All-Purpose Flour], @[Baking Powder], and @[Fine Sea Salt]. Add the @[Milk], @[Large Egg], and melted @[Butter] and whisk until a smooth, pourable batter forms — it should be about the consistency of pancake batter. Pour the batter evenly over the @[Pork] and @[Cabbage] filling in the #[Skillet], spreading gently to cover.
  4. Transfer the #[Skillet] to the preheated #[Oven] and bake uncovered for ~[20–25 minutes], until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center of the batter comes out clean. The edges should be set and lightly browned.
  5. Remove from the #[Oven] and let rest for ~[5 minutes]. Scatter extra sliced @[Green Onions] over the top. Stir together the dipping sauce (@[Soy Sauce], @[Rice Vinegar], and @[Chili Oil]) in a small #[Mixing Bowl]. Slice into wedges and serve directly from the #[Skillet] with the dipping sauce on the side.
