Brussels Sprouts
About this recipe
Crispy, caramelized Brussels sprouts made effortlessly in the air fryer. A light coating of olive oil and garlic brings out their natural nuttiness, while a touch of balsamic glaze and Parmesan adds savory depth. Ready in under 20 minutes with minimal cleanup — a guaranteed crowd-pleaser even for veggie skeptics.
Instructions
- 1
Trim the stem ends off the brussels sprouts and remove any yellowed outer leaves. Halve each sprout lengthwise through the stem so they lay flat. Pat them dry thoroughly with paper towel — dry sprouts = crispier results.
- 2
In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic minced, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper until every sprout is evenly coated.
- 3
Preheat your air fryer to ![375°F] for 3 minutes. Arrange the brussels sprouts in a single layer, cut-side down, in the air fryer basket. Work in batches if needed — overcrowding prevents crisping. Air fry at ![375°F] for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the cut sides are deeply golden and the outer leaves are crispy.
- 4
Transfer the hot brussels sprouts to a serving bowl. Immediately drizzle with balsamic glaze and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, then toss gently. Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and serve right away.
