Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the 1 lb ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, for 5–6 minutes until browned and no pink remains. Drain off excess fat.

Add the diced medium yellow onion to the pot and cook with the 1 lb ground beef for 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in the 3 cloves garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.

Add the 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can black beans, 1 can kidney beans, 1 can whole kernel corn, and 2 cups chicken broth. Stir in the 1 oz taco seasoning, 1 tsp ground cumin, ½ tsp smoked paprika, and ½ tsp salt. Mix everything together until well combined.
