  • 1 lb sweet Italian sausage casings removed
  • 0.5 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion diced

  • 8 oz lasagna noodles broken into rough 1–2 inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Ricotta Mixture

  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese divided — half for dollop, half for topping
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus more for serving

Instructions
