Instructions

If making an ice ring: the day before, fill a Bundt pan halfway with water, 2 l ginger ale, or a mix of cranberry juice cocktail and water. Add a few whole orange slices and 1 cup maraschino cherries for a decorative touch, then freeze solid overnight. This keeps the punch cold without diluting it.

Uses

  • Bundt Pan
  • Ice
  • Ginger Ale
  • Cranberry Juice
  • Orange
  • Maraschino Cherry

Add the thawed 1 can frozen lemonade concentrate and 1 can frozen orange juice concentrate to a large mixing bowl. Stir well to break them up and combine.

Uses

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Lemonade Concentrate
  • Orange Juice Concentrate

Pour in the 1 can pineapple juice and 2 cups cranberry juice cocktail. Stir to combine — this is your base. Taste it now; it should be sweet, citrusy, and a little tart.

Uses

  • Unsweetened Pineapple Juice
  • Orange Juice Concentrate
  • Lemon Juice
  • Cranberry Juice

Add the 1 cup grenadine and stir gently. It will deepen the color to a beautiful ruby-orange and add a rich, fruity sweetness.

Uses

  • Grenadine

Just before serving, slowly pour in the chilled 2 l ginger ale along the side of the mixing bowl to preserve as much fizz as possible. Give it one gentle stir.

Uses

  • Ginger Ale

Add the ice ring (or a generous amount of ice cubes) to the punch mixing bowl. Float the 1 whole orange and 1 whole lemon slices on top and scatter in the 1 cup maraschino cherries for a festive look.

Uses

  • Ice
  • Orange
  • Lemon Juice
  • Maraschino Cherry

Ladle into glasses and serve immediately while cold and fizzy. For a boozy version, stir in 2 cups of vodka, rum, or bourbon with the juice base in step 3 before adding the 2 l ginger ale.

Uses

  • Bourbon
  • Unsweetened Pineapple Juice
  • Orange Juice Concentrate
  • Cranberry Juice
  • Lemon Juice
