Instructions
- Break the @[Graham Cracker] in half along the score line so you have 8 equal squares. Lay 4 squares flat on a clean surface or plate — these are your bases.
- Break off a 2-rectangle section of @[Chocolate Bar] (about 1/4 of a standard Hershey's bar) and place it centered on each of the 4 base @[Graham Cracker] squares. Set the remaining 4 @[Graham Cracker] squares nearby as the tops.
- CAMPFIRE / FIRE PIT METHOD: Thread a @[Marshmallow] onto a roasting stick or long skewer. Hold it 3–4 inches above glowing embers (not direct flame) and rotate slowly for an even, golden-brown toast — about ~[60–90 seconds]. For a more charred exterior, you can briefly dip it into the flame, then pull back.
- BROILER METHOD (indoor): Preheat your #[Oven] #[Broiler] to ^[high]. Place the @[Chocolate Bar]-topped @[Graham Cracker] on a #[Aluminum Foil]-lined #[Baking Sheet]. Set a @[Marshmallow] on top of each @[Chocolate Bar] piece. Broil 4–6 inches from the heating element for ~[60–90 seconds], watching constantly, until the @[Marshmallow] are puffed and golden. Remove immediately.
- STOVETOP / GAS FLAME METHOD: Using long metal #[Tongs] or a skewer, hold a @[Marshmallow] directly over a gas burner set to ^[medium-low], rotating continuously until golden and soft, about ~[30–60 seconds]. Be careful — @[Marshmallow] can catch fire quickly over direct flame.
- While the @[Marshmallow] is still piping hot, slide it off the skewer (or lift with #[Tongs]) onto the @[Chocolate Bar]-topped @[Graham Cracker]. Immediately press the second @[Graham Cracker] square firmly on top and gently pull the skewer out while holding the sandwich together. The heat of the @[Marshmallow] will melt the @[Chocolate Bar] beneath it.
- Let the s'more rest for ~[15–20 seconds] so the @[Chocolate Bar] can melt fully and the @[Marshmallow] sets just slightly. Then enjoy immediately while warm and gooey!
