Gather all your ingredients and pat the 24 pieces cherry tomatoes and 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls thoroughly dry with paper towels. Excess moisture will dilute the dressing and make the platter watery.

Uses

  • Cherry Tomato
  • Mozzarella Cheese

Thread each bamboo skewer in this order: one 24 pieces cherry tomatoes, one 24 pieces fresh basil leaves large leaves torn in half if very big leaf (folded in half), one 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls, another 24 pieces fresh basil leaves large leaves torn in half if very big leaf (folded in half), and one more 24 pieces cherry tomatoes. Repeat until you have about 12 skewers. Arrange them on a serving platter as you go.

Uses

  • Cherry Tomato
  • Basil
  • Mozzarella Cheese

Drizzle the 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil evenly over all the skewers, making sure each one gets coated.

Uses

  • Olive Oil

Drizzle the 2 tbsp balsamic glaze store-bought or homemade in a zigzag pattern over the skewers. Don't skip this — it adds sweetness and tang that ties everything together.

Uses

  • Balsamic Glaze

Finish with a generous pinch of flaky sea salt such as Maldon and a few cracks of freshly ground black pepper over the top. Serve immediately at room temperature for the best flavor.

Uses

  • Flaky Salt
