Combine the 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the 1 cup granulated sugar fully dissolves, about 2–3 minutes. Do not let it boil vigorously.

  • Sugar
  • Water
  • 10 min

Remove the saucepan from heat. Add the fresh bunch fresh mint about 20–25 leaves leaves and gently press them down into the syrup with a wooden spoon. Let steep for 10 minutes — the longer you steep, the more intense the 1 bunch fresh mint about 20–25 leaves flavor.

Uses

  • Saucepan
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Mint

Strain the syrup through a sieve into a mixing bowl or jar, pressing the 1 bunch fresh mint about 20–25 leaves leaves to extract all the flavor. Discard the spent 1 bunch fresh mint about 20–25 leaves. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, or speed it up by placing it in the fridge.

Juice your 1 whole lemon thinly sliced until you have 1 cup of fresh fresh lemon juice from about 5–7 lemons. Strain out any seeds or pulp using a citrus juicer or colander.

  • Colander
  • Lemon

In a pitcher (Large), combine the fresh fresh lemon juice from about 5–7 lemons, 4 cups of water, and ¾ cup of the bunch fresh mint about 20–25 leaves simple syrup. Stir well to combine.

Taste the lemonade and adjust to your liking. Add more syrup for sweetness, more 1 cup fresh lemon juice from about 5–7 lemons for tartness, or more 1 cup water to dilute. The remaining syrup can be stored separately and added to individual glasses.

Uses

  • Lemon
  • Water

Add 1 cup ice to the pitcher (Large) and stir once more. Pour into ice-filled glasses and garnish each with a 1 whole lemon thinly sliced slice and a fresh bunch fresh mint about 20–25 leaves sprig. Serve immediately.
