  • 2 min

In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the 1 package lime gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water. Stir for about 2 minutes until completely dissolved with no granules remaining.

Uses

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Lime Gelatin
  • Water
  • 1,440 min

Stir in 1 cup of boiling water, then add the thawed 1 can frozen limeade concentrate and 1 can pineapple juice. Mix well to combine. At this point you can refrigerate the base for up to 24 hours until ready to serve.

Uses

  • Water
  • Limeade Concentrate
  • Unsweetened Pineapple Juice
  • Orange Juice Concentrate

Just before serving, pour the chilled juice base into a large mixing bowl or decorative cauldron.

Uses

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Unsweetened Pineapple Juice
  • Orange Juice Concentrate

Add scoops of lime sherbet directly into the mixing bowl. Use the full half-gallon for a thick, frothy, extra-green brew — or use less for a lighter punch. The sherbet will float and slowly melt, making the punch creamier and more vibrant over time.

Uses

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Lime Sherbet

Slowly pour the chilled 2 l ginger ale around the edges of the mixing bowl to preserve the carbonation. Do not stir — let it bubble up naturally for the best 'brewing cauldron' effect.

Uses

  • Ginger Ale
  • 60–120 min

Give the punch one very gentle stir from the bottom just to combine the layers. Serve immediately with a ladle. The punch is best within the first 1–2 hours while still bubbly.

OPTIONAL — Dry Ice Fog Effect: Using thick insulated gloves or tongs, carefully place 1–2 small chunks of food-grade 1 piece dry ice into the mixing bowl just before guests arrive. It will create an eerie, bubbling fog that cascades over the sides of the bowl. Never touch 1 piece dry ice with bare skin, never let guests drink chunks of it, and remove any remaining pieces before serving to children. 1 piece dry ice sublimates completely in about 20–30 minutes.
