Sparkling Citrus Mocktail
About this recipe
A bright, refreshing sparkling citrus mocktail made with freshly squeezed orange, lemon, and lime juice, lightly sweetened with honey syrup and topped with bubbly sparkling water. Perfect for brunch, hot days, or any time you want something festive without the alcohol.
Instructions
- 1
Combine the honey and water in a small saucepan over ^[medium-low heat]. Stir constantly for 2–3 minutes until the honey is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature, about 5 minutes.
- 2
Juice the orange, lemon, and lime. Strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove any seeds or pulp. Stir in the orange zest if using.
- 3
Add the cooled honey syrup to the citrus juice in the pitcher and stir well to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding a little more honey syrup if desired.
- 4
Fill glasses with ice. Pour the citrus mixture about halfway up each glass, then top with chilled sparkling water. Gently stir once to combine without losing too much fizz. Garnish with an orange slice and a sprig of fresh mint, then serve immediately.
