About this recipe

All the bold, tangy flavors of a classic Reuben sandwich packed into irresistible little sliders. Layers of thinly sliced corned beef, melty Swiss cheese, tangy sauerkraut, and creamy Thousand Island dressing are piled onto soft Hawaiian rolls, then brushed with a savory butter glaze and baked until golden and gooey. Perfect for game days, parties, or a fun family dinner — and they come together in under 30 minutes.

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your Oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a Baking Dish with Cooking Spray or Butter.

  2. 2

Using a long serrated Knife, slice the entire slab of rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected as one piece. Place the bottom slab cut-side up in the prepared Baking Dish.

  3. 3

Spread the Thousand Island Dressing evenly over the cut side of the bottom slab of Hawaiian Sweet Rolls.

  4. 4

Layer half of the Swiss Cheese slices evenly over the dressing. Then pile on all of the Corned Beef in an even layer.

  5. 5

Spread the drained Sauerkraut evenly over the Corned Beef. Make sure it is as dry as possible — excess moisture will make the rolls soggy. Top with the remaining Swiss Cheese slices.

  6. 6

Place the top slab of Hawaiian Sweet Rolls over the fillings and press down gently.

  7. 7

Make the Butter glaze: melt the Butter in a small Saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk in the Worcestershire Sauce, Dijon Mustard, Brown Sugar, Garlic Powder, and Caraway Seeds (if using) until combined. Remove from heat and stir in the Parsley if using.

  8. 8

Brush the Butter glaze generously over the tops and sides of the rolls, using all of it.

  9. 9

Cover the Baking Dish tightly with Aluminum Foil and bake for 15 minutes. This steams the sliders and melts the cheese through.

  10. 10

Remove the Aluminum Foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and slightly crisp.

  11. 11

Remove from the Oven and let rest for 2–3 minutes. Use a sharp Knife to cut along the roll seams into individual sliders. Serve immediately.
