  • 1 cup frozen banana sliced before freezing
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder whey or plant-based
  • plant-based protein powder
  • 2 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter
  • peanut butter
  • 0.25 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt full-fat or low-fat
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey
  • honey
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Stovetop
  • Blender
  • Glasse
  • Glass (Large)

Instructions

  1. Add the @[Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk] to the #[Blender] first — this helps the blades move freely and prevents the smoothie from getting stuck.
  2. Add the @[Rolled Oats] and @[Ground Flaxseed]. Blend on high for ~[about 20–30 seconds] to break them down before adding the remaining ingredients. This ensures a smooth, grit-free texture.
  3. Add the @[Frozen Banana], @[Frozen Blueberries], @[Greek Yogurt], @[Almond Butter], @[Vanilla Protein Powder], and @[Vanilla Extract] (if using). Blend on high for ~[45–60 seconds] until completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more @[Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk] and blend again.
  4. Taste and add @[Maple Syrup] / @[Honey] if you'd like a touch more sweetness. Blend briefly to combine, then pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
