  • 350°F

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a standard 12 cups muffin tin with ¼ cup unsalted butter or cooking spray, or line with paper liners.

Uses

  • Oven
  • Muffin Tin
  • Cooking Spray
  • Unsalted Butter

In a large mixing bowl, mash the 3 medium ripe bananas mashed thoroughly with a fork until mostly smooth — a few small lumps are fine. Add the melted unsalted butter, ¼ cup honey, 2 large eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and ¼ cup plain whole-milk yogurt. Whisk everything together until well combined.

Uses

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Banana
  • Fine Sea Salt
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Honey
  • Egg
  • Vanilla Extract

Add the 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, ¼ tsp fine sea salt, and ½ tsp ground cinnamon directly to the wet ingredients. Using a spatula, fold gently until just combined — do not overmix. A few streaks of flour are okay. If using ½ cup chocolate chips or ½ cup chocolate chips, fold them in now.

Uses

  • Spatula
  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Baking Soda
  • Fine Sea Salt
  • Cinnamon
  • Chocolate Chips
  • 20–22 min

Divide the batter evenly among the 12 plain whole-milk yogurt, filling each about ¾ full. Bake for 20–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean and the tops are lightly golden.

Uses

  • Plain Yogurt
  • 5 min

Remove the muffin tin from the oven and let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
