Instructions

Slice the 1 whole naranja, 1 whole limón, and 1 whole lima into rounds or half-moons. Core and thinly slice the 1 whole manzana verde sin semillas y. If using berries, halve any large ones. Add all the fruit to a large pitcher (Large).

Uses

  • Pitcher (Large)

Add the 3 tbsp azúcar granulada ajustar to the pitcher (Large) and muddle it lightly with a long wooden spoon against the fruit to help release the juices and begin dissolving the sugar.

Uses

  • Pitcher (Large)
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Orange Juice
  • Lemon Juice
  • Sugar

Pour in the freshly squeezed 1 cup jugo de naranja recién exprimido, ¼ cup brandy, and orange liqueur. Stir well until the 3 tbsp azúcar granulada ajustar is fully dissolved.

Uses

  • Brandy
  • Orange

Pour in the entire bottle of red wine. Stir gently to combine everything without losing too much of the wine's character.

  • 120–720 min

Cover the pitcher (Large) with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, but ideally overnight (8–12 hours). The longer it rests, the more the fruit infuses the wine and the flavors deepen.

Uses

  • Pitcher (Large)
  • Plastic Wrap

Just before serving, taste the sangria and adjust sweetness if needed — stir in a little more 3 tbsp azúcar granulada ajustar or a splash of jugo de naranja recién exprimido. Then pour in the chilled club soda or lemon-lime soda and stir gently to combine.

Fill glass (Large) with 2 cups hielo para servir, ladle or pour the sangria over the 2 cups hielo para servir, and make sure each glass (Large) gets some of the soaked fruit. Serve immediately and enjoy!

  • Glass (Large)
